Everyone deserves a balanced, nutritious diet to meet their needs. RGFP strives to provide the best variety of foods possible for our guests with our ever-changing supply. Subject to availability, we distribute a variety of frozen as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, frozen meats, beans and rice, breads, and dry and canned goods. Groceries provided change daily.

Each household can currently pick up free groceries weekly at our distribution site inside Rio Grande Presbyterian Church at 600 Coors Blvd NW. We are open for food box distribution Wednesday/Friday/Saturday between 9am-11am.

We source our food from a variety of places, including through partners like Roadrunner Food Bank, Seed2Need, Food is Free Albuquerque, TEFAP commodities, and individual, corporate, and organizational donors. We also rescue food from grocery stores when possible, provide fresh produce straight from our garden, and purchase directly from a variety of local farmers.

 What to expect:

When you arrive, enter through the west side of the building. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a short registration form.  No documentation is required. If you need assistance registering or carrying food to your vehicle, please let a volunteer or staff member know and we will be glad to assist. We look forward to having you as our guest!
